ABOUT HEAT FASTPITCH ACADEMY

We are looking to field 8U - 18U teams. We have multiple teams in each age group in Newton and we have expanded into Salina. We have AB & C teams in both areas so that we can work with those who are new to competitive softball or those who need a little more time to sharpen their skills. Then we can move them up to our top level teams when they are ready. We love to promote from within the FAMILY. You don't have to want to play in college to make one of our Showcase teams. We have had plenty of great athletes play on our teams and then focus on going to college to work towards their degree. We just ask that you are dedicated to the team. But we have put 100's of athletes into college on scholarships over the past 15 years.

We believe in coaching our athletes. All of our teamsare competitive and do travel. Some not as much as others. We believe in coaching the fundamentals of the game. If you learn the fundamentals fo the game, the rest becomes easy. It's about having fun, and learning the game in a competitive environment.

We have our COLLEGE SHOWCASE teams (14-18yo)that will travel more and play against some college teams. These teams will also travel to showcase tournaments and camps. These teams do not travel out of state every weekend. We do a few big tournaments out of stateand teach the players how to get the best out of our recruiting program. It is our goal to put our athletes in front of the college coaches so that the players can showcase their talent. But we do more then just put them in front of the coaches. We have a recruiting program that teaches our players how to interact and market themselves to the coaches. We offer guideance in the recruiting process for the player and parents. This is why we are successful at putting athletes in college on scholarships every year!!

The Heat FPA players and parents are our family. Even though we are an organization we try to keep it a family environment.

We put the focus on the fundamentals of the game and work with our players to become coachable, recruitable, players on the field and in the classroom. We preach ACADEMICS over sports. You are a student first, then an athlete 2nd.Over the last few years we have had 100% of our players who wanted to play in college get scholarships to do so.

If your daughter wants to improve her softball game, is a hard worker, and loves softball, then we want to talk to you!

Mission Statement:

Heat Fastpitch Academyis committed to molding great young women and great athletes into champions, on the field, in the community, and in the classrooms. We know that when our athletes take care of business in the classroom, they can take care of business on the field and in life. The discipline they learn from their softball experiences will extend into their daily lives and the success they achieve from their hard work, dedication, and perseverance through adversity will teach life lessons that will extend far beyond the diamond.

If you think we are in the business of just winning softball games you are wrong. We are in the business of helpingour girls become strong independent women who will go on to be successful on the field, in the classroom, and leaders in life. We just get to play a game that we love as a life learning tool.

Why Heat Fastpitch Academy?

We train to win, but we don't believe in winning at all cost. We are developing recruitable athletes that will learn life long character traits to help them be successful in the future. It's about the long term big picture and the success of our athletes in their future. The numberof our athletes who earn college scholarships and go onto earn college degrees speak volumes for our organization's success. It's about developing mentally and physically strong STUDENTathletes.

*We have multiple teams at each age group so there is a fit for all players and players have the ability to move teams within the organization every year. We have A/B teams and C teams inmost age groups.
