There are also lots of variations you can make with this recipe. I think one of my favorite things to do is add butterscotch chips and chocolate chips to the batter. I also like using plain or mini M&Ms instead of chocolate chips. One of my friends likes to add peanuts in addition to the chocolate chips. Just take this basic recipe and make it your own!
