- 1 oz spiced rum or brandy
- 1 oz cognac
- 1 T batter
- Hot whole milk to top
- Garnish with fresh-grated nutmeg cloves, and allspice

- 3 eggs separated into yolks and whites
- 3 T powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground allspice
- ½ tsp ground cloves
- 3 cups hot whole milk
- 4 oz brandy
- Fresh-grated nutmeg
Instructions
Batter Instructions:
In a large bowl, beat the egg whites until you see stiff peaks forming
Take a separate bowl and beat the egg yolks until they turn lighter
Gradually beat in the sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, allspice, and cloves
Take the yolk mixture and carefully fold it into the egg whites
Cocktail Instructions:
Rinse a mug with boiling water to warm it up
Take a tablespoon of batter and pour it into the warm mug
Add the spiced rum or brandy and the cognac to the mug
Top it off with heated-up whole milk
Stir thoroughly and dust with a fresh-grated nutmeg garnish
